Biomarker Test
A biomarker is a measurable indicator of some biological state or condition. Our biomarker testing comes with 25+ biomarkers, including a look at heart health, complete blood count, and basic thyroid and blood sugar testing. Each recommendation is backed by science and directly linked to a published, peer-reviewed scientific research publication.

Body Composition
Body composition is used to describe the percentages of fat, bone, water and muscle in human bodies. Because muscular tissue takes up less space in our body than fat tissue, our body composition, as well as our weight, determines leanness. Two people of same sex and body weight may look completely different from each other because they have a different body composition.

Body Composition Analysis
Total body or estimated total body scans using a DEXA scan give accurate and precise measurements of BMD and body composition, including bone mineral content (BMC), bone mineral density (BMD), lean tissue mass, fat tissue mass, and fractional contribution of fat.

Body Fat
Body fat includes essential body fat and storage body fat. Essential body fat is necessary to maintain life and reproductive functions. The percentage of essential body fat for women is greater than that for men, due to the demands of childbearing and other hormonal functions. The percentage of essential fat is 3–5% in men, and 8–12% in women (referenced through NASM).[

Body Fat Percentage
Body fat percentage (BFP) is the total mass of fat divided by total body mass. The body fat percentage is a measure of fitness level, since it is the only body measurement which directly calculates a person's relative body composition without regard to height or weight.

Dual-energy absorptiometry (aka DXA or DEXA) is the gold standard for measuring body composition and bone health. It's the preferred method trusted by medicine, research, and sports labs around the world. A DexaFit DXA scan is a simple 10-minute test that measures your total body fat and includes the exact breakdown of bone mass, fat tissue, and muscle in your body. A DXA scan is the most precise and reliable body fat test available today, providing you with 98% accuracy.

Heart Rate Variability
Heart rate variability (HRV) is the physiological phenomenon of variation in the time interval between heartbeats. It is measured by the variation in the beat-to-beat interval. High-frequency (HF) activity has been found to decrease under conditions of acute time pressure and emotional strain and elevated state anxiety, presumably related to focused attention and motor inhibition.  HRV has been shown to be reduced in individuals reporting a greater frequency and duration of daily worry.

Metabolic Test
Metabolism is the process of converting food (calories) into energy. The efficiency with which your body does this is referred to as your metabolic rate. Our resting metabolic rate test is a simple, highly accurate 15-20 minute breath test while sitting or lying comfortably in a chair. The air you breathe out is analyzed to discover exactly how much oxygen and CO2 your body is consuming/expending and how many calories you're burning.

Osteoporosis causes bones to become weak and brittle — so brittle that even mild stresses like bending over or coughing can cause a fracture. DEXA is the preferred technique for measuring bone mineral density (BMD). Although osteoporosis involves the whole body, measurements of BMD at one site can be predictive of fractures at other sites.
